Boswellia Serrata, a resin with incredible properties:

Traditionally used for its scented properties during religious ceremonies, Boswellia serrata resin has above all soothing properties . Its action is due to the content of boswellic acid, a compound contained in the resin. It is even included in the official pharmacopoeia of India and China and is today one of the most used natural health products.

For horses, this plant is recommended for stiff joints and respiratory or gastric disorders.

Unlike other herbs that soothe stiff joints, Boswellia serrata does not cause digestive upset.

What should Boswellia serrata be used with?

In case of sensitive joints, Boswellia serrata administered undiluted in the ration can be accompanied by collagen.

In case of respiratory disorders and bronchial congestion, it can be administered together with Tussilage.

Aloe vera can be given as a supplement in case of sensitive stomach.
